About Fraternity & Sorority Life

桃色视频 is home to 16 fraternities and sororities, four governing councils, and one honor society. Together, our chapters pursue excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and friendship while staying true to their own values, rituals, and traditions.

Joining a fraternity or sorority means joining a family. Your chapter becomes a home away from home, where you connect with people who share your interests and ideals, create lasting memories, and build friendships for life.

Mission & Values

Our Mission

The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life builds intentional systems and infrastructure that empower fraternities and sororities to cultivate belonging, advance academic excellence, develop principled leaders, and create lasting positive impact. We support chapters as values-driven communities where students connect with lifelong purpose and mutual accountability, grounded in equity, transparency, and shared responsibility across our entire fraternity and sorority community.

Our Vision
Fraternity & Sorority Life at 桃色视频 is a model of inclusive, equitable, and thriving fraternal communities. Our chapters are recognized nationally for their commitment to academic achievement, ethical leadership, meaningful service, and intellectual integrity. We create systems where passion is protected, where every member belongs, and where fraternity and sorority membership transcends ritual and tradition to become a genuine force for individual and collective transformation.

Core Values

Inclusion

We actively work to remove barriers and create spaces where students from all backgrounds thrive. Our policies, practices, and programming reflect an intentional commitment to belonging and fair access.

Infrastructure Enables Passion

We invest in transparent policies, clear governance structures, and strong advisor support so students and advisors can lead with authenticity and confidence.

Academic Excellence

Our chapters are scholars first. We prioritize intellectual rigor, intentional mentoring, and accountability, and we help members balance fraternal engagement with academic commitment.

Accountability and Transparency

We maintain clear standards, fair processes, and honest dialogue. We communicate regularly, explain our decisions, and create pathways for chapters to be heard and supported.

Ethical Leadership

We develop members who lead with integrity, make principled decisions even when difficult, and recognize their responsibility to chapter, campus, and community.

Service and Community

We foster a culture of meaningful giving back through authentic philanthropy, community partnership, and social responsibility.

Service and Community

Continuous Growth and Assessment

We use data and reflection to improve our work, gather feedback from students and advisors, and adjust our support in response to what we learn.

How We Work: Three Guiding Pillars

Policy and Governance

Clear, written standards that protect members and chapters. Decisions are documented, communicated, and applied fairly.

Advisor Development and Support

Advisors are the backbone of fraternity and sorority life. We invest in their training, resources, and community so they can do their best work.

Assessment and Institutional Memory

We measure what matters, share results openly with chapters, and preserve knowledge in systems so progress carries forward from year to year.

Our Councils

Each council governs its member chapters, organizes community events, sets council standards, and upholds the mission and values of fraternity and sorority life.

  • Interfraternity Council (IFC): Governs the social fraternities affiliated with the North American Interfraternity Conference.
  • National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC): Governs the historically African American fraternities and sororities of the "Divine Nine."
  • Panhellenic Council (CPH): Governs sororities affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference. The council is referred to as CPH or Panhellenic.
  • Multicultural Greek Council (MGC): Governs culturally based and multicultural fraternities and sororities.

Order of Omega

Order of Omega is the honor society that recognizes fraternity and sorority members for high academic achievement and leadership. To be eligible, members must have:

  • A 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Sophomore classification or higher
