Diversity Health Center, which is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), has as its primary mission the provision of primary, preventative and behavioral healthcare services to the residents of its service areas, with a particular focus on those uninsured, underinsured and underserved.

This FQHC provides and maintains necessary facilities, resources, and personnel required to ensure the availability of affordable and accessible comprehensive primary care services including urgent care to the residents of Liberty (Hinesville), Long (Ludowici), and Wayne (Jesup) counties and other surrounding communities. Diversity Health Center serves anyone regardless of age, income, health insurance, place of residence, or ability to pay. This FQHC complements other healthcare providers in the community and collaborates with other community agencies facilitating access to needed services impacting individuals’ health status. Patient education is integral to the services provided. 

The team of interprofessional providers includes physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists and pharmacists who deliver comprehensive primary care for adults and children, women’s health, behavioral health, podiatry, pharmacy, dental, and vision services. Diversity Health Center, Inc. will soon offer mobile dental care service access. The focus of the mobile dental care clinic is the provision of dental services at locations outside of their traditional dental office through partnerships with local organizations to bring care to those who otherwise could not access these services. The center participates in several quality initiatives to continually assess and improve the quality of health care services provided to its practice population.
